The Holiday Season is almost here!
Have you decided to make which kind of edibles for the party? These burnt carrots with CBD-infused butter can be one of your choices. Large carrots are ideal for dinner. Because they're big enough to get crispy-charred on the outside, meanwhile stay just-tender and meaty inside. This time we use a CBD or THC tincture to instant infuses the brown butter.
Ingredients required for Burnt Carrots with CBD Brown Butter:
#DecarbKit or #Activator;
1 gram of cannabis flower;
1/2 cup of oil or butter;
1 pound of large carrots (about 3 fat ones), cut into ½"-thick rounds;
1 teaspoon of olive oil;
Sea salt (options of kosher salt);
1 onion, cut into ¼" rings;
16" square sheet of nori, torn into bite-size pieces;
1small garlic clove, crushed;
3 tbsp. unsalted butter;
2 tbsp. Fresh lime juice;
Flaky sea salt.
Most edible are made by trimming or shaking. These are leaves from a cannabis plant after harvest. However, trims and shakes contain more chlorophyll. The more chlorophyll, the more bitter the final product. I prefer to cook with hash (also known as hashish) or ground kief (concentration of crystalline resin in cannabis flower). For simplicity, start with a few grams of high-quality cannabis flower. It will make your edibles more joyful to ingest.
Preparation:
Step 1: Crush cannabis flowers into small pieces by hand or use a grinder. Then sprinkle the herbs into the glass decarboxylation box. Close the silicon lid, insert the thermometer probe into the cover.
Step 2: Put the Decarb box in the oven and heat to 245°F for 30 minutes. Wait until the decarb box is cooled. Then remove the glass pan from the oven.
Step 3: Mix decarboxylated, grounded weeds and oil for 15 minutes. After that, pour the infused oil into a heat-resistant bowl through its fine mesh sieve. You can use a spoon to push down the solids to extract as much oil as possible.
Step 4: Place the decarb pan into the oven; preheat to 450°. Toss carrots and olive oil in it. Season with kosher salt. Roast carrots for 15-18 minutes until charred around the edges and just tender in the center. Then let it cool slowly.
Step 5: Meanwhile, cook shallots, nori, garlic, and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stirring occationaly, until butter turns brown and nutty-smelling and shallots are golden. Add tincture oil and stir to combine.
Step 6: Transfer carrots to a plate. Dress with melted cannabutter. Drizzle the carrot with lemon juice and a sprinkle of sea salt to your taste.
Then enjoy this incredibly flavorful dish with families and friends for this holiday season!

Tips for dosing edibles
Your edibles' potency depends on factors, from strain you choose, to storage, or even how long and what temperature you treated the strain. For safe dosing, try to spread 1/4 teaspoon on a snack and see how that dose affects you after an hour. First time users must be very careful with dosing.
